Hi everyone,
Hope you’ve all been having a great summer! We’ve been hard at work these last few months, with new releases and, possibly, a few changes down the road. Stay tuned!
We’re very proud and excited to announce our upcoming Kickstarter campaign, tentatively scheduled to begin on August 1st: GASLIGHT GHOULS. This horror anthology features Sherlock Holmes in twelve tales of terror by Jonathan Maberry, Angela Slatter, Alison Littlewood, Mark A. Latham, Charles R. Rutledge, Stephen Gallagher, Wendy N. Wagner, Stephen Volk, James A. Moore, Mark Morris, Simon Kurt Unsworth and Josh Reynolds! Edited by J.R. Campbell and Charles Prepolec, and featuring cover art by special effects master Dave Elsey! Watch for it!
Two Kickstarter campaigns of ours recently ended with great success: Sherlock Holmes: The Maplecroft Message, and Deadly Verse. Maplecroft is a novel by Joe DeSantis with a supernatural twist, featuring one of the most famous criminal cases of the Sherlockian era — the Lizzie Borden murders. Deadly Verse is the latest mystery by author Elizabeth Varadan to feature her intrepid amateur sleuth, Carla Bass. Both books are undergoing the final editing process, and backers will soon receive their rewards… after which, they’ll be available to the public, with links here on belangerbooks.com.
Coming in September: Sherlock Holmes: A Year of Mystery 1883 and 1884, both edited by Richard T. Ryan and featuring cover art by The Strand Magazine’s Jeffrey McKeever!
Sherlockian author Harry deMaio has a new website! You can visit www.tavighostbooks.com for the latest on his Octavius Bear and Glamorous Ghost series, stories for upcoming anthologies, and more!
