The tales in the anthology are scribed by some of the best known Sherlockian authors writers such as David Marcum (The MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories), Chris Chan (The Strand ), Will Murray (Marvel Comics), Margie Deck (Sherlock Holmes is Like), Dick Gillman (Sherlock Holmes, The Collector’s Edition), as well as first time student authors.
Stories range from traditional pastiches, parodies, modern takes on Holmes, to new adventures inspired by the great detective and his Boswell. In the Footsteps of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson features introductions by Francine Kitts, BSI, Beacon Society Headlight Denny Dobry, BSI. and award winning author Derrick Belanger (The Irregular Adventures of Sherlock Holmes) who also edited the anthology.
The proceeds from the sales of this book will be donated to The Beacon Society, a Sherlock Holmes Scion Society which gives grants to teachers, libraries, and Sherlock Holmes organizations to help introduce students to Sherlock Holmes.
